Jumbos Prepackers is a Durban based agricultural commodity prepacking and distribution business. The business started its operations in 1985 supplying a small group of select customers with prepacked rice and has since grown into a national supplier of prepacked grains. All of our products are housed and packed at our own 4000 sqm facility situated 2 km away from the Durban harbour. The business focuses primarily on three core commodities namely rice, sugar beans and sugar.<br/>Rice<br/>In South Africa, rice is a wholly imported commodity. We source our rice from, inter alia, Thailand, India, China and Brazil. We have a number of our own brands but also pack house brands for our larger retail and wholesale customers. Our facility has the capacity to pack rice in various sizes ranging from 500g to 50kg.We have our own fleet of trucks that we employ to satisfy our customers logistical requirements. We also have a reliable transport contractor base to draw on should our delivery requirements exceed our capacity.<br/><br/>
