Observatory's every popular Cafe Ganesh, well known for its African/South African cuisine and arty decor, has now opened a daytime venue along the same Afro centric theme in front of its original restaurant situated at 38 Trill Road, just off Lower Main Road. This is the entrance to use in the evenings, but during the day enter Cafe Ganesh via the daytime entrance on Lower Main Road. The interior of this space is interesting and full of character with brightly painted floors, a quaint balcony for summer days or evenings, comfortable furniture including a couch to relax on as well as plants and high ceilings, with lots of space between the tables and beautiful artwork on the walls in the rear section, which the owner himself has produced. It has an art gallery feel that is slightly Bohemian and offers a vibrant "local" atmosphere a truly unique experience.
