Irene Middle Farm School is a state combined school located at 12 Corner Nelmapius and Jansmuts Avenue, Irene, Centurion in Gauteng. Irene Middle School is an ordinary public school and has always been known as a "Farm School" as it is adjacent to the farm workers cottages near an area known as "Skoonplaas" in Irene. The school was established by the Dutch Reformed Church in 1913. The school initially catered for children of farm and domestic workers in and around Centurion. The school now draws the majority of its learners from informal settlements around Tembisa. Their mission is the delivery of education of the highest standard to every learner enrolled at the school.The vision is to ensure highly achieving, competitive, knowledgeable and disciplined learners. It is divided into Foundation phase, Intermediate Phase as well as Senior Phase.
